SAP S/4HANA Production Planning Consultant

APMS Solutions is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning Consultant to support SAP implementation, development and optimisation projects.

About the role

In this role, you will work with business stakeholders, key users and technical teams to design and improve production planning processes in SAP S/4HANA.

Experience with SAP Quality Management, Materials Management or Material Master Data is considered a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse manufacturing and production planning processes.
  • Translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
  • Configure and optimise the SAP S/4HANA Production Planning module.
  • Support process design and fit-gap analysis workshops.
  • Work with material requirements planning, production orders, bills of materials, routings, work centres and capacity planning.
  • Support integration between SAP PP and other modules, particularly SAP MM and SAP QM.
  • Participate in implementation, testing, data migration, go-live and post-go-live support activities.
  • Prepare functional specifications and system documentation.
  • Support key users and provide user training.
  • Investigate system issues and coordinate their resolution with technical teams.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with the SAP Production Planning module.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes.
  • Experience with SAP configuration, testing and issue resolution.
  • Experience in SAP implementation, rollout or application support projects.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into system solutions.
  • Structured and independent working style.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
