About the role
In this role, you will design secure, scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business and technical requirements. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, enterprise architects, developers, infrastructure specialists, security teams and external suppliers.
The role requires a broad understanding of enterprise technology and the ability to turn complex requirements into clear architectural decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Understand business goals, functional requirements and technical constraints.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise systems and platforms.
- Define application, integration, data, infrastructure and security components.
- Evaluate existing systems and identify modernisation or replacement options.
- Create architecture diagrams, solution descriptions and technical decision documents.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology standards.
- Assess solution scalability, performance, resilience, security and maintainability.
- Define integration approaches between applications, platforms and external services.
- Support technology and product selection.
- Review technical designs prepared by delivery teams and suppliers.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt.
- Support project planning, estimation and implementation decisions.
- Work with security, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure operational readiness.
- Present solution options and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in solution architecture, technical architecture or senior technical consulting.
- Experience designing solutions for complex enterprise environments.
- Broad understanding of applications, integrations, infrastructure, cloud, data and security.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
- Experience preparing architecture documentation and technical decision materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate different technical options and explain trade-offs.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across several technical teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
