About the role
In this role, you will work with senior leaders, business functions, IT teams and project managers. You will assess current operating challenges, define the target state and develop the transformation plan required to deliver it.
The role is not primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of projects. Its focus is to determine what needs to change, why it needs to change and how the organisation can achieve measurable business outcomes.
We are looking for someone who can understand complex problems, support senior-level discussions and translate ideas into structured and practical transformation programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Assessing business and IT operating models
- Analysing current processes, organisational structures, governance mechanisms and technology capabilities
- Identifying problems, risks and improvement opportunities
- Preparing and facilitating management and specialist workshops
- Designing target operating models and future operating concepts
- Developing transformation visions, strategies and roadmaps
- Preparing business cases, cost-benefit analyses and decision materials
- Designing changes affecting processes, organisation, governance and technology
- Defining roles, responsibilities and decision-making structures
- Prioritising transformation initiatives
- Analysing dependencies, risks and organisational impacts across programmes
- Working with project managers, business analysts, service managers and technical experts
- Supporting change management, communication and user adoption plans
- Preparing management updates and decision papers
- Defining and tracking expected business outcomes and transformation benefits
- Addressing strategic questions and barriers during implementation
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in business consulting, IT consulting, transformation, operational improvement or organisational development
- Experience in designing complex business or IT changes
- The ability to structure complex problems and present them to senior management
- Strong skills in developing analyses, business cases and decision materials
- Experience in facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions
- A good understanding of the relationship between business processes, organisations and technology
- The ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete initiatives and roadmaps
- Confidence when communicating with senior leaders, business stakeholders and technical professionals
- A structured, independent and results-oriented working style
- Strong English and Hungarian language skills
Nice to have
- Experience with a consulting firm or an internal corporate transformation team
- Experience in designing target operating models
- Organisational change management experience
- Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL or another relevant qualification
- Experience with outsourcing, insourcing, shared services or supplier transition programmes
- Experience with ERP, cloud, digitalisation or IT service transformation
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, integrations or organisational restructuring
- Experience in a regulated or business-critical environment
- A university degree in business, information technology, engineering or a related field
